Mark Sullivan is a software engineer in the video game industry and a member of the team at Sensable Health. With a passion for working directly with artists, game designers, and audio designers, Mark is dedicated to creating innovative and exciting games that push the boundaries of what is possible.
Mark has a wealth of experience in the video game industry, having worked for Harmonix Music Systems for over nine years. At Harmonix, Mark was a gameplay programmer on Fantasia: Music Evolved, a Kinect game for Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
He was involved in the full process of development, from prototype to polish, and was responsible for the engineering development of half of the game's levels, as well as developing many of the systems used across the entire game. Mark also spent time in a small R&D team, where he worked on the development of new game prototypes. He is currently lead engineer on an unannounced title.
Prior to his work at Harmonix, Mark received his M.Eng in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he wrote his thesis on "Soft Body Animation in Real-Time Simulations." He also received a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and took coursework in video game development at Bristol Community College.
